Job Description: Full Time Teacher
Each Teacher attends to 4-12 children (depending on age group) forming bonds of trust and loving relationships. Activities include motor development, language development, music, art, social interaction, and toilet training (2yrs and up). It is our goal to make every child’s separation pleasant, as educationally rewarding, as emotionally stimulating and as safe as humanly possible.
As a caregiver you would be responsible for:
-Changing diapers (lifting infant on the changing table).
-Supervising meals: Including teaching the children how to use utensils.
-Singing to/and with children.
-Building Small & Large motor movement.
-Appropriate Lesson plans: Circle time, art, songs, etc.
-Communicating with parents.
-Communicating with co-workers.
-Cleaning/Disinfecting of toys and room.

Desired Qualifications:
- 1+ to 2 years of experience
- Early Childhood Education (ECE),
- Early Child Development Coursework
Requirements
- 15 ECE Units- Must include Infant and toddler course.
- Fingerprinted
- Can read, write and speak English.
- Punctual
- Dependable
Company Description: Kinderwood Children’s Center was established to serve the families in the community in 1980. We recognized the need for working parents to be assured their most prized possessions, their children, are taken care of in the cleanest, safest, most pleasant environment possible. Our program balances opportunities for self-choice with teacher-directed activities. Choices range from quiet library time, fine motor/manipulative activities, and sensory/tactile activities to social skills. Large muscles are developed though supervised exercise in our well-equipped playgrounds. Our many play yards provide age separation and appropriate activities. Teacher directed activities include meal, circle and story time, art, music, language, developmental skills and science.
